So many sweet little details about this custom, very vintage brooch bouquet!

From personal pieces given by  family members to the little framed photo of their engagement and finally the tiny little embellished vile to hold a bit of the sand from the beach in Cabo where this precious couple exchanged their vows, this vintage inspired bouquet was the beautiful final touch for Julie’s destination wedding!  Even though I rarely get to meet any of my brides, through emails, phone calls and texts, my digging to find ways to add personal touches to my one-of-a-kind creations, I feel like I have a new friend by the time I ship! Each bouquet is so unique that this job never gets old and always surprises me with a blessing or two!  Congratulations to you Julie, may you live happily ever after!

Custom Brooch Bouquet

Vintage Brooch Bouquet

Baubles and Brides bouquet

This Custom Brooch Bouquet is a true labor of love… the amazing Mother of the bride, Viviane contacted me determined to have one of my bouquets for her daughters February wedding in the Bahamas! No problem… except that we only had a few weeks to pull it off! I am always willing to except the challenge of a rush order,  if I have the stock or the bride has all her goodies ready to go.  Neither however was the case… Viviane did all the hunting of the new pieces while I did all the gathering of the vintage/antique pieces, the fact that she worked for FedEx was such a blessing! 63 emails, a dozen phone calls, countless sneak peeks, 4 shipments and a trip to meet the bride on a layover and… One very happy surprised bride with an over-the- top thankful mother!  What a delight is was to collaborate with you Viviane! Travel safe and congratulations!

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea in a beautiful pea-green boat…  I shared back in May a sneak peek of Bijou’s blinged out dog collar for bride Lisa and her Owl and the Pussy-cat themed wedding. Here are a few more details.  She spent over a year collecting all the pieces for her custom brooch bouquet, once gathered it was all shipped to me in not one, but two  boxes weighing over 5lbs each! 169 pieces came tumbling out onto my dinning table… Yikes! It was quite the process to put just the right combination together of her favorites and to keep the finished bouquet under 6lbs (even at that we laughed about her needing to lift weights just to carry it.) Her dress was the perfect  choice to complete her look.  Flower Bomb by Ian Stuart   (one of my favorites).  And lets not forget “Bijou the Basset Hound”  acting as the ring bearer, sporting her own custom embellished collar! I can not wait to see the photos! Thanks to Lisa for being so much fun to work with! My brides really are the best! …and hand in hand, on the edge of the sand, they danced by the light of the moon, the moon, they danced in the light of the moon.

That smile says it all! Heba and her top hat toting groom, Tamar declare their love for each other with family and friends on June 7th in Beirut. I just loved working with this international bride, as I shared in an earlier post… Heba gathered her friends and family from around the globe to participate in the hunt for brooches and goodies for her custom Brooch Bouquet. They all did such a great job, so many unique pieces! Along with these photos came a note, “The wedding was unbelievably amazing and everyone fell in love with my bouquet thanks to you :)” I just have to say that I have the best brides! seriously! Congratulations Heba & Tamar! …and they lived happily ever after.

“Songbird” Brooch Bouquet

Bride-to-be Shelly

These 2 were made for each other!  CaLa, one of the Maids of honor for bride-to-be Shelly, spent months gathering just the right pieces for this stunner!  She knew what she was doing as she had been a part of hunt for her sister Jessie’s brooch bouquet “Tombstone”  2 years ago. Once the gathering was complete we met for the hand off and an opportunity for CaLa to share the vision she had for this unique gift for her friend… in one word, GLAM. This past Saturday CaLa hosted a bridal shower for Shelly where she presented her with her one-of-a-kind Brooch Bouquet, “Songbird” Given that name because The bride is a trained opera singer! As you can see from the photo they look beautiful together! Don’t you think? Every bride should be blessed with a Maid of honor like CaLa!  If you would like to see the video of the unveiling click the link: Shelly”s Brooch Bouquet unveiling leave her some love, the big day is July 29th. I can not wait to see the wedding photos!
