Soul mates!
Before February gets away from me I have to share a couple very near to my heart… Patty & Don, my in-laws. My precious husband’s parents married in February of 1953 and are a true example of soul mates… In 58 years I don’t think they spent more than a week apart! They had 2 beautiful children, traveled the world, collected antiques, became wine connoisseurs, golfed together, cooked together, loved to entertain and spend time with family and friends. They, together, battled cancer, heart problems, hip & knee replacements, and in the end a stroke that took Don in November. My husband and I just celebrated our 35th anniversary on February 5th, and I must give some credit to this amazing couple who showed us how to do it! Thank you!
