What a “sweet” surprise…

How did life surprise you this week? … I had  a lunch date with an old friend this week. We had been talking about and trying to get together for over a year… finally, a yummy lunch filled with updating each other on our families and all that keeps us busy.  When we had worn out our welcome at the restaurant we continued the afternoon at her home overlooking the beach, picking sweet peas, I LOVE SWEET PEAS!!! they just make me happy.  What a lovely afternoon.  There’s nothing quite like time spent with a comfortable old friend:)  Thanks Lou Ellen, let’s not wait another year…
